WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE TO KEEP HANLAN’S BEAUTIFUL
01
Support the Mission
Your support helps protect Hanlan’s Point and preserve a rare natural ecosystem for everyone to enjoy. Donations contribute to conservation work, educational initiatives, community outreach, program delivery, operational costs, and the supplies needed for on-the-ground action. Contributions also help cover ferry transportation costs for volunteers participating in clean-up and stewardship efforts on the Toronto Islands.
Our program encourages youth involvement, fosters a sense of purpose, and strengthens community-led efforts to care for and protect the beach. Your support also helps us grow as a credible and organized voice, increasing our capacity for advocacy, partnerships, and meaningful influence in environmental policy and public awareness.
Keep Hanlan’s Beautiful is officially registered as a non-profit organization in Ontario. While we can accept donations, we are not currently a federally registered charity and cannot issue tax receipts.

Volunteer as an Individual
Volunteering with KHB is about more than making a difference—it’s about finding connection, purpose, and a sense of belonging. It’s where shared values turn into meaningful action, and strangers become lasting friendships.
Along the way, you’ll grow your understanding of environmental and social challenges, take part in fun summer activities, and gain experience that enriches both your life and your future.
Want to get involved? Send us a quick message—we’d love to hear from you. No resume needed, just the motivation to get involved and a short introduction about yourself.
